It is run by a management board of trustees; registered to provide early years care and inspected by OFSTED.
Its ethos of quality and excellence of service makes Ajani popular in the community.
As a registered charity Ajani’s provides a wide range of leisure and support services
to women and girls of African, African Caribbean, and Dual Heritage descent.
Our service includes Braunstone After School Plus Club, Playgroup, Complimentary School,
Youth Club, Dance and Drama, Summer Holiday Scheme and 60+ group,
as well as bespoke programme according to community needs.
Ajani has recently teamed up with Leicester College to provide accredited training programmes in arts and crafts, language and literacy as well as IT.
Over the years Ajani has played host to a number of celebrations
including African Women’s Day, International Women's Day, Kwanzaa,
and most recently Black History Month and the abolition of Slavery to mention but a few.
